Im not quite sure about the problem

I have been having a problem with my truck. When ever i step on the gas the truck feels like it has no power, it kicks and bucks, and sometime feels like a hesitation. Now here is the real problem. i have checked the fuel pump, the fuel pressure regulater, the injectors, the air flow system, the plugs and the wires. All are fine all the fuel pressure is fine. The truck idles nice and smooth and when im just driving there is no problem. But when when the motor is under a load it is bad. I have heard that when the clutch begins to go it can do some thing like this. Have any of you heard this or experenced this problem. If you have any suggestions to help me get my truck back on the road, thank you.

It sounds like you may have a throttle position sensor failing.

well the only reason i dont think it is not in the engine is i passed my emmisions test and the computer told me that every thing was fine .

ok is there any kind of test that i can do on the TPS, like a volt test or a meter test to se if it is working.

well, how do you fix gremlins. the Tps was fine i swaped it out and i have the same problem. If you have any ideas will help. thanks

Well I have a manual but i found my gremlins. I had six of them the aftermarket plug wires i bought could not take the heat of being so close to the exhaust manafold. The boot dried out and the wires arced and no power. I replaced them with Motorcraft and the truck runs like a champ. thanks to all that helped me out with this.
