After I put on new front shocks, rear leaf springs, tires and wheels.

What steps can I take to improve my steering, just a quick list of what you would replace would be cool.

Thx in advance

fluid flush then synthetic fluid

I would flush the system, there are many threads here for doing that. then i would put synthetic fluid in

Define "improve".

im-prove: to bring into a more desirable or excellent condition.

heh, simple steps I have a reasonable shot at doing myself.

replace the front coil springs? could be sagging after this many years.
make sure the steering box doesn't have to much play?
alignment?
check balljoints, tie rods, and bearings?

you really can't make these things turn on a dime, but if you take care of the suspension and treat it right it should last a while.

Inspect your rag joints. Replacing one on my Ex greatly improved steering.

you could also check out the (i think there called) drop arm bushings. I was confused as heck as to why mine would shake, replaced those, drove great, until the ball joints went. lol

Got it,

I will look into all that, thx thats exactly what was looking for.

As far as flushing the power steering fluid, I think i just found a very slow leak. $@%#ing awesome!

thx for advice

this thread was very satisfying
