well on saturday me and the guys went out wheeling... well there was this puddel that caught my eye... and i figured since i had other people with me i probley would be able to be pulled out.... so i hit it..... well i got about half way into it... and got stuck. nobody could get me out... we broke 2 chains and 2 tow straps... there was about 3 maybe 4 inches of tires showing... which is not alot for 35's .... after 5 hours.... we decided to leave it there..... it sat there for 12 hours in the water. we had to use a 10 ton tractor trailor come along the next day.... i need to know what i should replace.... i am going to grease my wheel bearing and hubs.... chane my oil... i checked the tranny fluid... and it still red as can be..... and i guess if the gear oil is whiteish grey i have to chane it too..... but should i use a pump and suck it out? put cheap gear oil in.... run it and then put synth in? putting in my good air filter again too....

change all the fluids... it is cheap insurance.... red fluid with clear water is still contaminated red fluid....regrease everything and change out all fluids

im pretty sure that grease + hubs = bad news. a VERY little is ok but no need to cover them.

should i use a pump to suck the gear oil out? i heard changing the front is a *****..... i have done the rear before...

I would remove the cover if you got water in it. pumping it out won;t insure all the water comes out.

From what ive heard you have to remove the front diff to get out all the water. Im planning on removing my front differental today so i can get the water out of it.

I don;t think he will have to drop his axle on his 93 since it's different. I think if he jacks up up he could get the cover off thatway

hey.. I got up to my bumpers in a creek sunday, the diff breather hoses didn't go under, but is there anything that could have gotten nasty.. its running normal, im just wondering
