I have a 2002 Eddie Bauer, my information center....milage, miles to empty, ,miles per gallon etc.. does not illuminate well in the daytime. It works fine at night or when its darker but during the daylight I can't see it well at all. Just wondering what it could be, perhaps the light sensor? Any ideas? Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the link, wow that looks like a lot of work. Isn't there a light sensor located in the hood that senses how light or dark it is and adjusts to it? It pretty much stays the same day or night just easier to see at night.

It dims when you turn the lights on, and goes completely out when you turn the dimmer switch all the way to off.
