so i get in my X and i sti down buckle up etc and my friend gets in and does the same as he is shutting the door to my X the friggen insdie door handle rips off....now like after 3 or 4 shuts after putting the thing back on by hitting it it falls off again what should i do to fix this? like really strong glue or something thanks?

both of my door handles did this

took the interior door panel off and scraped the melted plastic studs that hold the handle to the panel. The old handle came right off.

i went to a junk hard and bought a whole new interior door panel...(which i couldnt use because i have a sport and it was out of a 4door) undid the plastic fittings that were melted into the panel (like i did on my panel) and put it in place of the old handle.

it worked fine except it wasnt flush to the interior panel

eventully that one broke the exact same way... i found a site that sells new interior handles...

When you get your new handle, make sure you clean out all the little holes that the new plastic studs go in... the new studs will not fit without doing this

Then once the handle is in place, use small (low heat) butane torch to melt the plastic studs and smoosh them in there...

it should look nice and flush

oh and remember to paint the handles if you want, i left mine the primer grey cuz i think it looks cool with my custom 'brushed aluminum' window/door lock panel

Hey thanks im going to order this item soon i appreciate it

Mine broke off, I used super glue at first, that broke off after about a month. Then I used model glue, like for the little plastic cars. And that seems to be holding, it's been almost a year and It hasn't fallen off yet. Though it doesn't look the best.
