install sub to factory stereo?

Yeah Kippie Winger Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Added a QLogic powered sub years ago, tapped into speaker wires. Sounded horrendous, constant buzz, bass was unimpressive. Removed it within weeks after installing it. I would definitely invest in a Head Unit, they are so cheap now, but I dont want to lose the 6 disc changer capability. Plus, the on off button no longer works so I never need to turn the head unit on....

That's what i did with mine and i have to disagree. Considering my budget i think it sounds just as good as my old setup with an aftermarket hu. Now obviously if you want to change the sound you have to play with amp and lose the control through the hu which is pretty annoying, but once it's set where you want it it really doesn't need to be touched.
