I just intalled the front shocks on my
1991 explorer
2 door xl
Installation was relatively easy except for the top nut on the shocks. On BOTH sides it snapped off. thats a word of warning but I wasn't reusing the so it was no big deal. I was removing Monroe sensa tracs that looked like they were older than dirt, I put on the new shocks tightened down the nuts and set the car back down.
took it for a test drive, seemed a little un-responsive so I turned the knobs to a different setting. WOW it corners alot better, handles alot better, but I ahve yet to take it off road.
Questions:
Do I want it on 1 or 5 when offroading?
How do I know which setting the knobs is on? I see no markings. Thanks
