Did you happen to do the cross member rivets too??? other then that, the pitman was REALLY tight..And front brake lines were tough on mine.

Yeah that pitman arm was a major pain. That was the hardest part to take off and put on(even with a puller).

Don't forget to take lots of pictures.

Good luck!!!!

rivets suck and also pitman arm was a *****, broke two pullers.....

ok heres how its going, first we started at about 9am, then we worked about 5 minutes and say the hell with this we need coffee, so we took a coffee break, then it was down and dirty, we took off the 3inch body lift, that was easy, then we started on the suspension lift, since i had all the rivets popped out and replaced with bolts (best money i have ever spent) we got the body lift and the front suspension done yesterday and right now im getting ready to go, so i will post something when im done

how much did it cost to have your rivits removed?

Also, if you havent already sold that body lift, I would be interested in buying it from you.

ok i finished the lift, finally, it was pretty easy except for when we torqued down the rear, i didnt torque it enough and when i went to test drive it, the spring perches shifted and caused a loud pop, so took back to the garage and torqued it down like you wouldnt believe. im taking it down tommorow to have it aligned and have the spring perches welded, ok i ran into some problems with the front sway bars, the links were rubbing on the coil springs, so i went to central 4wheel drive and bought some quick disconnects for a jeep CJ
and they are a little better but i also didnt have to use the drop bracket. they are pretty nice, also the bushing they give you for the new shocks dont even fit in the perch so i just used my rancho's that are pretty new because they just give you stock rear shocks because your just flipping the spring over, all in all it was pretty easy, a lot of busted knuckles, but i had fun because it was good time. oh by the way Ryan1 how does 20 plus shipping sound i have no use for it anyways. it cost 60 bucks to have the rivets popped out, trust me it is well worth the money.

20 plus shipping sounds fine.

Do you take paypal?

Also you wouldnt happen to have the instrustions would you?

you wanna throw you sway bar links in for 10 bux extra. that is if they are 5.5 inchs longer

Ryan

the sway bar links are stock, but i have the sway bar drop brackets that are brand new. i will throw those in for 10 bucks if you would like, let me know.

i dont even know what paypal is, we can work something out though

ya Ill take the drop brackets. Paypal is a free web bank. Basically so you dont get screwed.
Go to www.paypal.com

What type of body lift is it?

Ryan

It is a performance accesories 3inch body lift. the only problem with the body lift is when i put it on i kind of jacked up the bumper brackets, they are still useable buit you might wanna fab some up yourself, ok i have a question, did anybody that put the 5.5" superlift have problems with the sway bar links rubbing on the coil springs, if you didnt how much space do you have between them. it was a pain to work on that, even though i got the quick disconnets they still are pretty close, oh another thing, the alignment was off so much that the front tires were seriously slanted. is that normal right after the lift is in?

hey There danny boy. you dont even have the limited grille on me now....I finally found one and im gonna go put it on right now, you will, however, have the leather interior over me.

Ryan

ok limited grille is on...that took like 5 minutes. It took me longer to walk downstairs and back up as it did to put it on.

oh I see what they are now. they are some sort of u-bolt.
Dont get me wrong The rack itself looks strong But if its mounted to the factory crossbars(which I cant tell if those are factory or not) those dont hold that much weight.
