I need to install the factory Class III hitch on my '92 Sport (the PO removed it at some point). Problem is I cannot quite figure out the mounting points...any help would be appreciated...

Are you installing a new one or re-installing the one they took off? If your re-installing, I would look for some mounting holes that would match the holes in the hitch. If it's a new one and there are no holes to align,it could be the wrong hitch(assuming you already have one) or you may have to drill some mounting holes yourself. Check, double check, check again ,then ask somebody who knows what they are talking about !:D

I thought it had been installed before but I may be wrong (it does look pretty new for being 10 years old). I think I found the proper mount holes on the side of the frame but then there are no holes to match on the bottom side. I assume then that I need to drill these (1/2"?? holes). Would this be correct?

Is the paint scraped away where the bolts would be tightened on the hitch? If not, it is brand new....

Good indicator...no the paint is in tact...it is slightly rusty (just at a couple of weld joints) but it I think it was kept in his garage so that may explain it...looks like I gotta drill :-)

Got it all on (sure enough, I had to drill the bottom holes)...thanks for all that replied...
