Installing a keyless entry system

Has anyone installed a remote keyless entry system before?

I am looking at a few different ones on ebay and wanting to put on into my x.
Any suggestions on installation or brand?

I installed a Crime Stopper keyless a couple of months ago, because it was cheap. After wasting half a day tearing stuff apart to figure out where to tie into the locks, I ended up connecting in the pass. side footwell. The receiver is mounted to the underside of the HVAC duct behind the stereo. The antenna is looped over the top of the duct, putting it right at the base of the windshield. If I had to do it again it would only take about 2 hours even with making the wiring all pretty.
It seems like that's the way most of my projects go though.
