im going to be installing a new cd changer where the stock one is now, and i've got a feeling that means im gonna have to take apart the whole damn center console, so basically, how do i do that? and even better, is there an easier way? any help is appreciated

hey liquidx9,
Dont know of an easier way to put in a changer without removing the console.

However I added a changer to my 95 in the console. I didnt have a factory one in the first place.

I had to remove
- the 2 black pieces from the dash to the console
- the console lid
- the colsole lining

i was able to mount the changer to the lining with the changer brackets and screws using a stubby screw driver.

One thing to watch out for. When you run the wire for power when the key is on, dont use the power in the console for the rear radio controls. I did and now the changer will only work with the key forward not turned back in the accessory position. <Doh!> Havent gotten around to correct this yet.
