Hi i am in the process of installing LPG on my explorer and was wondering if there are any people out there that would be able to give me some advise.
My first problem is that the vaporisere or reducers are so big that cant fit anywhere. A local guy told me that i could remove the airbox and replace with aftermarket air filter. Is this correct?

Im trying to find a circuit diagram of a romano RAS lpg system but can find it anywhere.

I will have the tank mounted tonight and the lpg lines from back to front and i will also have the filler fitted but its the front end thats giving me issues.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

thanks

Hi,i run mt 97xlt with natural gas, i think you may use aftermarket filter at no problem, but dont remove the MAP sensor .Be aware that, with gas,you should replace airfilter more often than as you do it with gasoline.I dont know how big is lgp reductor, but mine(natural gas) is beside of battery and radiator, along with pressure gauge. I can show you some pics if you want to. Mine is OHV, maybe thats why i have more space.
