After much research I have detirmined that the DEH-P4600MP Pioneer is the HU for all of my needs. I drive a '97 XLT with Premium (non-jbl) Sound. When I go to best buy to get this tomorrow, what else do I need to ask for? From what I see, I need:

Amp Bypass
Wiring Harness
Something to mount it with
Something to fill the space that the old one took up.

I know these are n00b questions, but I am really looking for some guidance here. If you can offer me any suggustions, please reply or hit my up on AIM, my SN is KalamazooClown

Thanks in advance!!

Best Buy should have all the installation parts required. However, correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think that they will include it all for free. If they don't, you might want to order the head unit from Crutchfield. Their head unit prices include all the required installation accessories.

Here is a good how to for head unit installation in your Explorer...

check out www.carstereo.com and look for the best price on that head unit. They give you prices from dozens of websites.

!NO GO BESTBUY!! NO GO BESTBUY!!!

Buying HU's anywhere else then from Crutchfield (Unless you already have an aftermarket installed, then buy Ebay) Is REDICULOUS. You will pay probably 50$ More from Bestbuy. Crutchfield has the best customer service and the prices are lower anyway. Dont buy from a store.
