I'd reccomend getting the wire harness from crutchfield... It comes with the wireing for the deck and to bypass the amp... If you just need an amp bypass I have one I'll sell you for $10... It came with my wire harness from crutchfield, but I didn't need the amp bypass because I'm using pre-out only...

Basically if you can wire the power, constant, ground, remote, antenna and what not I have the other piece you need to bypass your stock amp...

how hard is itr to install the antenna??? they said that the tuner part was the hardest to install........but im preaty sure i dont have the rear tuner because theres a antena hook up on the stock cd player...... my 1996 is a late 1996 i figured that out.... all my manuels are for the 1997.......... and i have a acuall 2 din cd player

Ill have enough to buiy components on the 3rd and i have 2 amps in the back one is a 2 channel that puts out 60x2 at 4 ohms so i can use that to power my components then i wouldn't need to bypass the amplifier

they sadi it was more complicated then that but im guessing that they assume that all ford have rear tuners.......... heath will i be ok with this?

and them some 2 guyage wire to ground my distoro block and some 80 amp agu fuses.......

do i need anything else?..... and i wont need to bypass the amp because im using the pre outs right?

When you call Crutchfield to order the harness, they'll probably ask you if you want instructions but if they don't ask, ask them. They're free and very detailed.

I sorta wanna get it all thru sound doamain they come with instructions tho

That harness looks like what you'll need if I remember right... But I'd call em up and or e-mail them to make sure... Other than that you just go straight to your aftermarket amps and don't deal with the Ford one at all, except maybe to take it out... I have my amps back there so I removed it...

I don't know soundomain but I know that Crutchfield will give you free phone support for anything you buy from them. If Soundomain gives written instructions, they'll probably do phone support too. I've heard a few stories about guys who had a Crutchfield tech on the phone for the entire install.
