My instrument cluster has to be replaced, my temperature gauge does a 360 every couple of days or so. It never returns to zero when I turn the car off, it stays where ever it was when the explorer was running and starts off at the same point when the car is turn on as if the zero for the gauge has been reset. \

My problem is that I I do not want to spend $675 to get it replaced. If I can get a new open, stock or aftermarket, I would like to swap it out myself. CAn you guys let me know if there is anywhere to pick one up online. Thanks

I would look for a mountaineer one myself. It has the white face and looks much better. Have you checked any salvage yards?
