DO NOT BUY THAT!!! I bought one just to see if they worked....it sucked! It's just a little resistor that fits into the end of the temp. sensor on the intake. I left mine in for about a month. I got an average of 10mpg on the freeway and noticed very little gain. It bogged the engine down with too much fuel at low RPMs. I took it back to OEM and....it runs better!:D

I made one myself. I used a Poteniometer(sp?) and put it inline. I could move the temp the truck saw by changing the Pot. It didn't do anything, but I never put it on a dyno but the Seat of the pants dyno says no increase.

Junk! It appears he is eliminating the MAF and tricking the computer. The MAF is super important on a ford. Ouch! stay away!

Absolutely agree!I did such a thing to one of my preious vehicles. No improvement to the torque :( .Not only that. The instruction sheet says that YOU HAVE TO REMOVE IT FOR THE WINTER TIME :D

It does trick the computer, but it does'nt eliminate the MAF. It eliminated the Intake air temp sensor. When the air temp to the motor is colder (which is what they are telling the computer) the engine adds more fuel and more advance to the timing, which is the theory they are using to say it gives you more power.
