i was thinking of getting a wrap for the tube of my Mac intake since it seems to heat up pretty hot after like 3 runs on the strip. Does anyone else have one and if so what kind and where should i get it? any info would be gr8 ^_^
also i was thinking about trying mabe a header exhaust wrap. does anyone think this may be plausable?

also i know it would make a greater difference if i removed the headlight but i dont feel like dealing with it lol

Go to Lowe's and check in their HVAC area. They sell a roll of thin foam insulation that has foil on one side and is sticky on the other. It comes in a plastic bag and is about $15 for the roll. It's more than enough for your CAI.

Good find techie...

ok so basically what i gained from this is that the heat of the pipe after runs is not from engine heat away from the engine more thet its from actually being right on the intake manifold and the wrap would just make it hotter. is that correct?
