Not from first hand experience, but from researching this and knowing a bit about seats, it doesn't look like it will work just by bolting them down. A middle bench seat is normally wider, whereas the 3rd row seats are normally narrower due to the wheel well. The seats aren't the same size and I imagine, due to the nature of hidden 3rd row folding seats, that the mounts would be completely different all together. Upon more investigation though I saw a thread that might help. It's comparing 3rd rows. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170228
It looks like the second row seating it about the same as 2nd gens does anyone know if they would swap over? I like the look and the way they fold better
