I would not run the truck on the dyno with the front drive shaft in. I have the same transfer case and I remove the front shaft before putting it on the dyno. There are about 10 bolts holding it on. If not removed you might burn up the Transfer case, even with the mod. I searched this forum and found some threads along time ago that led me to beleive this.
I agree I'd pull the shaft also, for safety more than the clutches. It would not be good if the TC clutch somehow did engage, best to not have the shaft in there to be sure.
