Hey guys...

You know how the newer Camaro/Trans Am/Firebird/Vette all have the daytime running parking lights? I found this site while looking for a module for my friends Camaro....

You can put daytime running parking lights on ANY car or truck you want to. Thought it was interesting and I'd share it....

or, you could just turn on your headlights when you drive

It's not making the headlights come on, it's making the parking lamps your daytime running lights, like the Camaro's or T/A's, where the parking lamps are on bright for the daytime running light effect...

it'd be cheaper and easier to leave your headlights on. Most people that I know that have day time running lights on trucks want to take them off for when they go hunting. If you are worried obut draining the battery take the power wrie from a constant power source and move it to one that's only on w/ the car.

I don't have daytime running lights.... I was just showing this mod in case anyone was interested in seeing it, cause I thought it was interesting. Nevermind. I don't think anyone understands it...

I never understood the concept of daytime running lights. Is there really a NEED for them? Seems like just another drain on my already overloaded battery.

I understand u, jus didn't know that Ex's came w/ daytime running lights.

I can see the market for it, but I'd rather not have another module on my car to go out. the simpler the better IMHO.

Yea there's no need for this, but it would look cool IMO, I dunno..... I'm a big fan of Trans Am's, and I love the parking lamps when they're on like that. Think it looks bada**....

They don't. This mod is to make your PARKING lights your daytime running lights, like the vettes or T/A's where their turn signal lamps are always on, like the camaros etc

I got ya Mike, and I like them. When I ditch my Safari bar, I'm going to hook up some amber fogs in my grill as my DLR's. Won't be exactly like this, but it's the yellow affect that I like.

yeah, i understand exactly what you are saying. this would be cool, those cars look wicked with the lights the way they have them. its not something i want, since i have clear corners, but i hope someone takes a look at what you are actually saying and does it. i know that before i had the clear corners i would have been intersted in figuring out how to do this.
