I noticed that a while back my external air sensor was getting off. Now it is getting way off. It said 100 this morning, BTW I live in teh mtns of VA so it was more like 30-. So on with the problem. I have seen how to fix this thing easy enough. But would it be screwing with my air cond/heat inside the vehicle. This morning seemed like it was throwing heat out of the floor vents, where I had it set. I could feel a bit cooler air coming out of the upper vents that are the ones that hit your side glasses from up on the dash. Also seemed like heat wasn't getting as warm as it used to. BTW I have the dual side digital climate control auto heat system. Not sure if the sensor is the issue, I have read stuff about the blend door or maybe it is a thermosat going out? HELP!

Stu, I believe the sensor is tied into the auto climate control. I have manual climate control so I'm going on what I've read on here. You know that is bad so I would change that out first. Then if your issue isn't resolved, we dive in!! :D

yea its tied in. I'd replace it and see if the problems continue.
With mine it was like -5F out and you hit the Auto button i noticed the A/C light would also turn on. When i fixed it, still 10F out, hit the Auto, NO A/C. Once the outside temp got to 50F, hit the Auto A/C turns on. Besides that its used to calculate the HVAC 'Load' and compensate for it.

Excellent! I was hoping that was the problem. Cheap part, and not too bad to fix. So I need to order one soon I guess. Thanks a bunch guys as always you guys rock.
