Has anyone experienced the interior lights not going out when you start driving? Or coming on sporadically while driving? I think I have a bad door sensor... when I reslam my door after the truck is started, the lights go out inside.

Then once I shut off the car, get out, and back in again, it does it all over again.

It's probably overheard you talking about ripping its little 4.6-3V heart out, and replacing it with a larger one... No doubt about it... you've scared the crap outa your little red Adenalin! Now, ya gotta say your sorry, then maybe your STA will relax and its lights will work properly again. Hahahahahaha.

Theres a way to shut it off, I had the same issue and it seemed my son clicked some button that caused it to stay on.

I clicked in a every position imaginable and it would not go out.
*no slamming necessary.

I finally found the right position and it went out and has not stay on...since.

Now it comes on when I open door, then dims and goes out. before I walk away.

about a month ago, I had trouble with the rear..
Sure enough, my son was looking for something and moved the rear switch also.
good luck.

Ha!! Good one. It's trying to give me a sign I guess. I better get it fixed by Ford before I pull the engine.... they might try to say my engine swap caused the light to break.

Mine did it a few times. I forget it was either the switch on the dome or the dial on the dash under the headlight switch.

Like they used to say in the old Yellow Pages TV commercial "... I'd check the hemulator if I were you, and if it's not that, then take a look at the kadibble... that could also be the problem." Hahahahahahahahaha.

I finally took it to the dealer. Ford fixed it under warranty. It was something in the key ignition switch that caused it.
