What brand do you guys recommend? I tried Pilot brand they are terrible.
I need them for front interior lamp and rear license plate lamp. They both are 168(W5W)

I use superbrightleds.com They have a pretty good selection.

Thanks, I'll check them out.

The problem with the license plate lights is that the bulbs sit on a 45 degree angle in the housing and both point towards the passenger side of the vehicle (direction wise). So with LED lights shining straight ahead the lights don't illuminate the plate very well, they kind of skip across the plate slightly so it looks dim. The lights are pretty bright on mine but without them pointing downwards they appear dim.

Ordered some 9 LED ones from superbright, 2 sets 1 for interior and 1 for license plate, if they worked, I'll upgrade my Edge too.

those should cast a better light pattern on the plates, hopefully they aren't too much wider than the oem size bulbs as the opening of the lic. plate light housings don't allow for larger bulbs. Keep us posted on how they work out for you, thanks for posting.

I just did LEDs into my Ex. Ended up putting 5 bulbs in the front map lights, 2nd row domes and in the rear plate lights. Tried to fit some 9 bulbs in the front maps but they were two long and the switch would not work. 9s would probably go in the 2nd row domes and rear plate light lights though.

I want to replace the front dome map lamps.. I notice that the stock lamp is 168 -t10 base. Is this a led lamp already or an incadecent bulb? When ordering the led lamp you have a choice of beam patterns from 35 to 360 degrees. What beam angle should i choose ? I have not taken apart the stock lamps yet to see what they are.

I'll buy 360 degrees for them, thats what i bought.

Ones i got are 12 bulb LEDs and installed them today, fit both inside and license plate, brightness is good and license plate light pattern is pretty even.

See CDN's post about LEDs, I have installed them and they well fine, 9 in front, 5 on the sides.
