Hey guys I have this problem whenever I first get into my car or park it the interior lights always stay on. The way I fix it when Im driving his I open and close the rear door behind me and the light always goes off..but that doesnt work when you park, What I do is take the fuse out for the lights. Its getting really annoying, anyone have any suggestions to my problem? thanks in advance..

Sounds like a sticking/broken door switch.

Where is the switch located?

The ones I was thinking of are the switches located in the door frames. They are a common item to go and easy/free to check.

The door ajar switch is found in the door latches in some models. PITA.

Would it just be easier to have a switch to the interior lights...like if the problem consist just have a on/off switch for them lights?

This problem is still happening. Its quite annoying. When you get in the car the light sometimes doesnt shut off at all. Until I open and close ALL the doors I few times. Sometimes its adifferent door that u must open and close to get the lights to go off. Does anyone know exactly where the switchs are located to stop this problem. thanks

LOL yeah it is annoying as hell lol we were on the highway and we kept opening and closing the doors , people must of thought we were nuts!
