Let me clairfy the window track problem. Lubing them up wont help, its a problem with the brackets holding the track to the inside of the door comming loose, getting debris inside of them making tons of squeeking and squeeling.
i spent years trying to fix them and yet i have just now figured out the trick to fix em. Sound proofing, haha.
if you can get ahold of some sound proofing ($25 for 6'x6' generic stuff from sherwin williams) use a small peice to put infront of the bracket, where the bracket meets the door. once you get the small peice of proofing on, use a small torch to melt the proofing enough to where you can mold it perfectly with the metal (door). make sure you make a little hole for your bolt to go through, and that should fix the rattles comming from that bracket
I noticed with the first gen explorers and the broncos, that the brackets used to hold the (back) speakers would make this crazy buzzing noise. sound proofing (where the bracket meets the metal panel) will fix that also.
I think it may be coming from under the seats. I lubed up the door hinges (not the tracks though) and I can hear it when all the windows are up so I don't think it's suspension related.
if the windows are up, and you get tons of squeeking over bumps and stuff... and if you crack the windows a little bit does the rattling/squeeking go away or become minimal? Then if you put the window all the way down does it squeel more?
if you answered yes to these questions i can bet money you need to do something about those window tracks. Try taking off the interior door panel, from there, there is thin (but not easy to rip off) plastic insulation, if you can get behind that you can see the window/motor ect. To the far left you can see the window track. Try tapping on the track, if thats your sound then BOOM!
