Interior Trim

I was wondering about the interior trim I have seen some with wood trim some with not. Is it based on the color of the interior? XLT or Limited? Or?

Limited has some wood trim

Limited has some wood trim

Limited trim is a very dark brown, almost black.

Base is the smooth silver/grey color. XLT is the grained silver color. Limited gets the Wood. This is on the front door, headlamp bezel, and glovebox only.

If you PM me your VIN I can look up the information on your Explorer and confirm the interior styling on your vehicle.

Seems to me that you guys have a pretty good idea of the interior styling options but just in case- I will confirm them here:

Base-Interior
Center stack accents — Dark Slate Metallic
Door trim — Dark Galvano
HVAC trim surrounds — Charcoal Black
Instrument panel appliqué — Dark Galvano

XLT- Interior
Center stack accents — Dark Slate Metallic
Door trim — Bright Galvano with LA grain
HVAC trim surrounds — Polished Pewter
Instrument panel appliqué — Bright Galvano with LA grain

Limited- Interior
Center stack accents — Meteorite Black upper and Gloss Black lower
Door trim — Olive Ash Dark Brown
Instrument panel appliqué — Olive Ash Dark Brown woodgrain

I have a 2011 XLT and am trying after 10 years of great use to spruce it up in it's elder years. I was trying to find out if any of these parts can be purchased online someone and if they can be replaced? I have the stock aluminum look and would love to see if there is a more "classy" upgrade.
