when its real hot, like in FL, leather burns.

I prefer human hyde. Its soft and easy to work with. I like cloth, leather gets too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer, plus I don't like to slide around all the time! The only reason I'd ever get it is if the car I liked had it.

I liked cloth better in the X because it stayed a more comfy temperature, was easy to clean, and couldn't get ripped or torn during wheeling or wrenching.

Now in my VW though the heated seats and A/C are great so temp isn't an issue. And that beef-hide feels so good!

i voted cloth. never really did like leather. i had it once in a cobra and the driver seat wrinkled all up.

i like both cloth and leather, but i recently i swapped my cloth for leather and i prefer it much better. but with leather comes responsibility. you have to take care of it and it will take care of you

I like both in a way...i have cloth seats in my X, even though it doesnt wrinkle up like leather...however, i did get leather seat covers cuz i like the look luxurious look to them and feel. So when ever those go bad or too cold during the winter or too hot in the summer, I can take them off...

I prefer leather but I also like cloth. Cloth is great in all seasons because it's cool and absorbant in the summer and warm in the winter. That's the kind of feature that leather is lacked. The cloth seats in our rigs are very durable too! The seats still look new even after 7 years of driving.
