Intermittent check engine light on a 1992 4x4 Explorer.

So I have a 1992 4X4 explorer, I have an intermittent Check engine light it will come on 15 minutes after I start driving and about 15 minutes into my drive it will turn off (also every time I turn off the engine) then it will come on and go off again anywhere from 5 to 15 minute. I took it to an auto shop and they were unable to pull a code. Any suggestions?

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the EEC-IV section. You could check the flashes of the check engine light if you jump the connector with a wire.

would you be able to explain to me how to do that. Sorry i have always used the computer
