Intermittent, high pitched squeal, front end 2015 LTD

Mine was the the carrier bearing on the CV axle out to me forever to figure it out but yes that scream is gone...

How did you determine which one it was? Did you diagnose it yourself or take it to a mechanic?

I put my 2015 explorer on jack stands and put it in gear... Scary... But I had to figure it out.
It sounded like the center of tranny, changed the axle and the other bearing didn't look or feel worn out but changed it anyway... wow... Gone... Thx for all the thoughts...
