So this has started to happen more and more. I turn the key to start it and nothing happens. I may have to try turning the key 8-10 times before finally hearing a click and it finally cranks. Again, this doesn't always happen. The battery tests good so that is not it. Thoughts on possibly the starter going out or maybe the starter switch/relay? Thanks.

Check fuses and relays related to the starters. It could also be a bad ground since it is an intermittent problem. This could be any number of places.

Does the position of tilt of the steering wheel affect it at all? Sometimes the connections in the top of the steering column get messed up from constant tilt adjustment. This could be a place to check.

I never move the tilt but I'll check the other areas.

35 years ago I was having the same problem with my Mustang. I chased it for a few weeks until I discovered the ground was loose. Trace the negative terminal and then the positive terminal starting at the battery to make sure everything is tight and not corroded.
