Things are moving along on fixing up the rolled 1998 Mountaineer.
After doing "exploratory surgery" on the crunched front right door to see how to remove the window trim without damage (the replacement door is red, will be painted green, code PS) I needed the window back up to get the key lock out.
I ran the window up part way, then saw I needed to reinstall the rubber. Ran the window down, reinstalled the rubber...
Window no longer works! After sitting for a while, I can get the left window to move about 1/2" inch then nothing until it sits again. The right window won't move. Haven't tried the back ones.
Until today all the windows worked perfectly.
Perhaps I should do a How-to on removing the window trim for repainting so the previous color won't show around the edges.
