1998 Mountaineer
I've searched through several threads and have tried several things but by 1998 Mountaineer AWD 5.0L will not start. It ran fine yesterday, drove for a couple of hours, parked it in the garage overnight and today it won't start. I've checked the following: fuel pressure is good at 40lbs at the rail, replaced the CPS with a new one today (no help), and have spark at the plug wires. It cranks and stumbles like it's going to start sometimes but never does. I'm probably going to replace the Crank Position Sensor (CKP) tomorrow. Plugs, wires, and gas filter were changed about 15K miles ago. Was hoping someone might have some ideas of what else to look for. Thanks.

For anyone having a similar problem in the future, I resolved this issue with a new crank sensor.
