Hello all.
While new to this forum, I've owned Ford 4x4's for over 30 years.
I hope to learn more about my vehicle repairs than whats available in the manuals. Current problem is a leaky pinion seal on rear differential.
Vehicle is a 2001 Explorer XLT 4x4.
Anybody point me to a 'how to' for replacing the seal?

Welcome to this forum! Remove the rear locknut in front of the assembly that holds the U joint. The seal is in this area. Pry it out, and carefully tap a new one into place.
