i just won some rims , they are 15x8 EAGLE 187 Wheels , with -30mm Offset, and 3 1/4" Backspacing:
(dead link)

will they be ok on the explorer with 31/10.50 15's with a 2" spring and shackle lift ?

They'll be just fine

Nice buy those are sweet looking wheels

thanks..

scary thought to buy first then ask if they fit after you win them

im crazzy like that ! ..naa..i thought they would . i was hopeing for a pic of some on a truck ...

I have 3.25 backspacing on my 2nd gen, had to trim a bit, but they fit good, rather have them stick out then be too close in, I've always heard you 1st gen guys had more room than 2nd gen explorers though.
I posted a bunch of pics a while back if you feel like searching my old posts, but like I said it's for a 2nd gen so it will only show you show much.
Nice purchase too!

do you have the tt and shackel lift ? or you runing it stock with 31's ?

No shackles (I have them, just haven't put them on), and I just cranked on the t-bars a little, got maybe an inch or so after it all settled.
