after doing a tt is an alignment really that necessary. Can 2" change the camber that much, cause the wheel has to say at the same angle to some degree, right?

If it is necessary, how much would it cost to have it aligned w/ the right camber bolts?

Thanks

the bolts cost $12 and thats for both sides, but thats wholesale price... probably around $50 then an alignment is usually around $70.... i owuld get the alignment done, 2" of lift is enough t osverely damage tires

i used to work in the tire industry and eprformed alignments, i know firsthand how bad they can be, i shave seen vehicles with no alignments only have a brand new set of tires last a week!

it is worth your wile to get an alignment every two years or so.
More is you live in the city or go wheelin' in your daily driver

A proper alignment not only saves your tires but also saves gas.

Eh... been out of alignment for a year now... been putting it off until I get my 18's on this summer...

(18's that I do not have yet. :p )

I would get it done. I'm having my Grand Prix aligned tom. I work for a place that makes them and get them free when we have training classes

just curious, is it possible to do your own allignment with like a ruler, and a good eye, or is it more exact when adjusting the camber?

You could get a close-enough alignment with that method but you would still need to get it done at the shop before too long.

It can be done, yet it is very inaccurate,

Have it done at a quality alignment facility.

We were just discussing this in the general explorations forum in the post "Eddie Bauer has seen better days" or something to that effect.
