I have just purchased a skyjacker lift from j602 and have some tires already only problem is they are 35x14.5x15 and I looked on the tire size list but no mention of 14.5 wide  the lift is a 6in lift.

My question is can i run these tires and if so what kind of backspacing should I get when I buy some wheels?

IMO NO.. they are going to be way to wide... In the pic below is my '93 4.75" lift with 33x12.5x15 BFG ATs on 15x10 AR rims (3.75BS). As you can see in the pic the tires stick out quite a bit compared to a stock X; Your 14.5's would add about 2" to each side

Pete used to run a 6in SkyJacker Suspension lift in front, 4in SkyJacker spring and custom shackles in the rear with 33x14.5-15 TSL Boggers on American Eagle 589 alloys on his Sport. With the right Back Spacing on your rim I would say yes.

Thank you derocha and splashman

By any chance dose anyone know if I could put these tires on a 10" rim and what back spacing I would use? or a web sight to calculate I had one stored in my favs but it no longer exist
Thanks again Nate

Thornbirds are a horrible tire do not waste your money on them.

No money wasted at all I was given this 83 toyota with them already on it and they are brand new
so they were free if ne thing else they are saving me money
thanks though I have heard this from everyone and I read the online reviews but free is FREE.
Its like hootus coverd in herculiner JUST CANT BEAT IT!!!

10" rim definatly, I wouldn't go smaller. For BS I would say 3.75" - 4". I think Pete's were 4" BSing.
On my B2 with a 6" lift and 33x12.5s I have a 8" rim with 4" BS. At full lock I have about 1" of space from my stock radius arms.
You are going to be close, you may have to put up with some rubbing on the radius arms at full lock.

Has anyone else put this size tire on an x?
and if so what kinda lift, rims, anything else I might need to know.
Thanks again NATE
