Is it worth it to get bigger tires with 3.27 gears?

I have the stock tires. But have these garbage 3.27 gears. Is it advisable to get bigger tires, like 30X9.50, or even 31's? I do not off road, & I do drive alot of HW driving. Does it also make a difference because I have a 5 speed manual?

Go for it , I have 31s and 3.27s its fine. Its probly better with the 5 spd. Do a saerch there were a couple big threads on this.

you'll be fine, especially with the 5 speed.

i agree.... your acceleration will be worse but in od on the freeway it will actually get you better mpg

After searching, I think I will just keep the stock size for now. I really don't want to lose the little performance I spend $$ on going to a bigger tire. I'll just spend more $$ & regear in the near future

I have 33's with 3.27's and i get pretty good gas maileage

Im running 32s and 3.27s. It ain't that bad. I just put on a 2.5" high flow exhaust and a K&N intake to make up for the loss in power. Its about like it was stock. Not to mention, I have a 5spd.
