97 Explorer Sport
Hey guys i have a 97 explorer sport with 80,000 miles on it. I have had it for 6 months now and im itching to do something so I would like to do some small things to it such as Intake, Exhaust, Tints and black rock crawler rims. I know those are small things and 80,000 miles isnt alot but what kinda miles do u guys have on urs that are about my yr and what kinda of upgrades have u done at higher miles.

Thanx
Jay

My '97 has 65,500 miles right now. No upgrade to the engine except the intake (KKM).

You should be fine to do a cat back exhaust, an intake, and an Apten chip.

Good luck...

I am closing in on 90k in my 00 mountaineer. I have a mac intake, true dual exhuast, removed EGR, ported upper and lower intake manifolds and I dog the sh*t out of it all the time and have not had ANY problems with it for the past 10k (when I got it)

I have a '95 with 84k with an intake and cat back. Those performance upgrades should be benificial!

I have a 94 with 130k and I did a chip and exhaust, don't be concerned about mileage because once it blows up, that just means you can do a complete rebuild and still keep your performance parts for it!
