is this box keyless entry??

forward of the rear washer fluid resevoir there is a box about 4" x 2" and there is some cooling fins on it in the one corner, there is two wire connections on it both on the rear side of the box one with about eight wires on the plug and one plug with about 4 wires on it....what is this???? thanks

That is your electronic 4x4 controller. It works with your 4x4 pushbutton on the dash to control the motor on the t-case.
