I am not really interested at this time in spending $200+ dollars on a chip, but I do see many of these on eBay cheap. Are these worth getting?

You get what you pay for.

Personally, I wouldn't buy it for $34 or whatever it is. If you want a chip that does something, look at what chips people here have...apten, diablo, or superchip.

Looks like junk to me. But hey, buy it and do a write up on how well or not it does for the rest of us. :)

Or just get the Apten chip like almost everone here.

Stick with a known brand such as Diablo (Apten) or Superchip.

it only has 4 wires, so you have to wonder how much control it really has over the computer.

But Brian your's dosen't have any wires. Just how do you explain the "contro"l from your chips?

LOL & J/K!

He's using wireless technology naturally...
get with the program Magic. :D

They're actually not using radio frequencies, they use quantum entanglement for communication. They're guaranteed to provide a minimum of a 200HP increase, or, if you put the sticker on the windsheild, you get between 300-400HP.

Considering it never mentions needed to know different computer codes, which there are different ones on vehicles of the same make, model, and year, how good do you think it would work?

it appears they have taken the resistor wired inline with the IAT sensor thing and made it pretty. if its what i think it is, it is a resistor that basically wires inline with the IAT sensor and tricks the computer into running a slightly richer mixture. not worth much hp by itself. just save your money and get a real chip.

...and to secure it, why not quantum cryptography with polarization entangled photon pairs?! WOW... another physics buff. :D Mmmmm where to place my photon receptors, perhaps near the PIAA lights? heh

Well DUH, I just kinda thought that went without saying ;P:confused:

True... I guess there wouldn't be too many spots for the receptors. :mattmoon:
