is this true about aal

ive been searcjing and reading all through the suspension forum just to better knowledge myself and some say aal's only gave them about an inch and one person said that aal's wont raise at all because we dont have spring over axles. reason i ask is i just ordered skyjacker 2 inch lift and i was wondering if i will atleast get 1.5 inch out of it or did i waste my money. if i wasted my money does anyone wanna buy a lift? lol

thanks again guys i weighed the differences and figured it was wrong but with just ordering the lift with that thought in mind i needed reassurance. maybe this will help someone else out that reads that.
