Have to replace rusted trans lines on 97 w/302 and auto trans.
Price for new trans line $76 to $100 each. need 2 of them.
Can I put 5/16" brake lines in their place? What is the thread difference?
Or should I be able to just re-flare the old fittings onto the new "brake" tranny line?
If you can answer quick it would be great. I'm getting ready for a 3-hr ride home and can get parts on the way (It's for Momma's car). Otherwise spend BIG $$$
