ISSUE: 04 s/t - "hiccups" under stress / low RPM

My 04 sport trac has been having a problem when i drive up hill or when the engine is under stress at low rpm's. It tends to "hiccup" or "burp" (feels almost like a missfire or its going to bog out) occasionally when driving under stress at low rpm's at a cruising speed. it does not generate any codes....

anyone have any idea what this might be related to?

We need a lot more information on your vehicle, miles maintence done. With what we know now I would look at ignition components like spark plugs and wires. It takes quite a few missfires to set a code.
