Hello all;
I'm looking for some help with my cars IPC module, 2017 Explorer XLT.
the problem started last week when suddenly noticed that the Trip 1 & 2 meter started resetting every time the car is switched off for some time.
I wanted to check DTCs with Forscan and found some errors in the IPC module
U0533:56-0A Invalid Data Received from Side Obstacle Detection Control Module 'A',
U0534:56-0A Invalid Data Received from Side Obstacle Detection Control Module 'B',
U3000:44-0A Code U3000-Control Module
tried to re-set them but they keep coming back

i saved the As-Built data and tried to reset the module using the downloaded As-Built file from fordservices and from the saved values. I'm able to execute the procedure successfully and write the values but as soon as Turn-off/On the car most values are getting reset to zeros.
i checked fuse 13 BCM and fuse 3 BJB both good, battery voltage also above 12V

now the right screen is only showing the red background and the small right arrow is highlighted on top, the left screen is missing a lot of the previous menu items like MyKey, BLISS, Auto-Lock/Unlock and the fuel gauge is always showing full.
the odometer stopped counting, alerts are coming out of the IPC not through the Audio system and trip 1 & 2 and fuel economy keeps resetting to zero every time i switched off.
apologies for the long post and appreciate any help/advice where to start.

Welcome to the Forum. :wave:
I'm not a FORScan user, but there are several members here who are. Hopefully, one of them will be able to help. Good luck.

This level of malfunction is beyond the typical owner - even one who's very familiar with ForScan. I recommend taking it to a dealer or independent pro for diagnosis, and being prepared to hear that the IPC is dying.
alerts are coming out of the IPC not through the Audio system...
I don't think the IPC has the capability to produce sound internally. But there are some tiny buzzers inside the dash for park assist, etc.
