Its Been Almost A Year Now It All Started Looking For A Manfold For My 88 Bronco I Found This Super Clean 90 In The Junkyard Just Waiting On Someone To Bring It Back To Life After Wheeling And Dealing With These Guys They Rollbacked It To My House After A Few Hours Of Work And A New Fuel Pump The Beast Came To Life No Oil Pressure Sounded Like A Bunch Of Chinckens In The Top End But We Were Able To Drive It After The Test Run We Pulled Back Up To The Shop Door And She Droped All Her Cluth Fluid Right In The Doorway Oh Well We Need A Motor Any Way Back On The Hunt For Another 2.9 I Looked At Creat Motors Looked In To Rebuilding This One And Then I Spoke To Another One Of My Junkyard Buddys And There It Was A 1987 Ford Ranager With 63000 Miles Yell Right I Said A 87 Maybe A 163000 But 63000 But I Called The Place And Sure Enought It Was All True A One Owner Trunk Local Guy Ran Off The Mountain So I Took The Two Hour Drive Looked The Truck Over And Forked Over $400.00 For This Motor Now Back To The Shop.
After A Good Steam Cleaning And A Little Cleaner It Went On The Engine Stand Now I Think I'm Cooking With Gas Then It Happens I Get Everone I Know Sending Me Work {been In The Body And Paint Trade For 28 Years I Have My Own Shop At My House And I'm A Manager At Another Shop During The Day} Well Just As It Goes I Back Burned My Truck To Get All This Stuff Fixed And Painted So I Kept My Mouth Shut No One Knew I Had Everthing Done And I Was Back On A Roll Again New Oil Pump Water Pump And A Color From A 71 Ford Engine {med Blue} {i Hated The Grey} A Little White Here And Thar And It Looked New Again New Cluth And So On Droped It In The Hole And The Next Day She Sounded Like A Kitten Just Out Of The Milk Bowl Now Its Two Weeks Later And I'm About 6 Hours Away From Putting It Back On The Road Heres A List Of Everthing I've Done So Far Change All The Fluids Rear Tranny Ect Ect Checked All The Drive Train Greased Every Fitting Rebuild The Rear Door New Stuts New Strikers O/h The Rt Ft Door New Regulator Assy Lt Ft Door Installed Real Mirrors {ranger Truck Type} Wheels And Tires All Done Entir Undercarraige Blacked Out Now Install The Radio And A Few Speakers Nice Wash And Detail And Were Off I Think All And All This Will Be A Super Clean 90 Bronco Ii I Will Post Pictures As Soon As I'm Done Thanks To All Who Helped And Keep On Trucking Hillbilly :d
