well, the mids and the highs are finally in. thanks to drew for all his help.
audiobahn components front and back. the front tweeters are mounted on the highest portion of the door (right above the side view mirror controls), and the rear tweeters are mount beside the midbass drivers in the rear. for all the naysayers about tweeters in the rear, they are a pain in the @ss, but definatly worth it, sounds just as good in the back as it does up front.
the components are getting their juice from a depth charge D4004 (i think thats the model number), the exact same amplifier as the memphis MClass 116-MC3004 amp that puts out the same numbers (115x4 at 4 ohms, with .03 THD). from my many trips to the stereo store to get parts, there is no cap, and there will likely never be a cap (even when the subs go in), i can explain the reasoning behind this later if anyones interested.
head unit is a clarion dxz925, and i cant even begin to get into how it lets you tweak your system, for those of you who cant tweak enough, this, or the 2003 model (dxz935... same exact model, little darker paint on the aluminum though) is the way you should be going.
all in all, i didnt ask too many questions, but let this be advice for the newbies, i searched, a lot, and my answers were there. so thank you to everyone who helped me without knowing, and especially thanks to drew.... and dave (drw18) for their individualized help in this process, ill get pics up soon, and keep everyone posted on how the new changer/sirius/subs/hidden radar detector process goes... this audio stuff gets damned expensive
