I just use a jack stand under the first axle of the tire that I removed. It would be nice to have all 4 up in the air at once but if you are rotating the tires yourself there is no need to.

I have a spare set of rims for the winter tires so I usually only need one corner up at a time. I used the hockey puck with a groove cut into it and use the lift points on the side where the metal is pinched. Works great, just make sure you use good wheel chocks! Safety first.

Welcome to the Forum Sheldon.
I used to change my own as well, but as age creeps up on me the wheels seem to be getting heavier. So for the past few years I just have the dealer change them when I get my semi-annual oil change done. They program the TPMS and also store them for me so no more issues with them taking up room in the garage.
