2013 Ford Explorer
I recently purchased a 2013 Explorer and I do love it but there are some little things bothering me. My phone thing where you talk through the speakers was messed up (wind noise) and I took it to the dealer. They ran some sortof "fix" and it did fix the wind noise but now the speaker thing isn't working. I can't tell the car to dial a number anymore. I have to manually dial the number from my phone and sometimes it will connect so I can talk through the speakers. the hang up button doesn't work on the steering wheel either so again I have to pick up my phone and hang up manually. Also recently my backup camera began having spots on the view. I cleaned all 4 lenses several times and this keeps showing up. It looks like spots of mud or mildew on the lens How can I fix this?

Welcome to the forums!!

I only wish my Explorer(s) had these kinds of "problems". LOL!

Go to the dealership, you have a warranty for a reason :)

You might want to checkout the 2011-2013 Explorer forum here, maybe you'll find some good advice from owners of the 5th Generation Explorers. Good luck!

Janet- we have the rearview on our Escape, and it takes constant cleaning- think of them like eyeglasses...

...and the back of the vehicle is like a magnet for wet dirt and grime when driving. We clean them constantly.
