thought i'd share some pics of my 4.0 that I'm redoing. #4 cyl was rusted pretty rusted. got it cleaned up and spinning free. ill try to take pics and post progress as it goes, but right now I'm pooped so I'm taking a couple day break from it.

Since these pics I've torn everything down to bare block. Everything looks great. Rod bearings have a little wear. I'm going to rebearing it, along with new rings. Should make a good vehicle when I'm done.
 






Right on man I'm in the process of doing from the heads up on mine, i lost a lifter on mine it collapsed then came apart bent pushed and beat up the rocker a bit. I'm gonna be doing a rebuild myself here soon on a different block though, gotta have reliable transportation in the mean time. Did you figure out why #4 was so rusted?
 






4 years sitting with a blown head gasket. But it looks like I'll be looking for a motor. The cam has some rust pits on the lobes. For the cost of a cam and a gasket, ring, and bearing kit, it's too much for a maybe with #4 cylinder being ate up like it is
