I just finished a tt and aal on my 03 4wd ST.

I will need tires in the near future. But there is so much different info out there in terms of what I can run and not rub. I would like some AT tires and run slightly bigger tires to fill out the wheel wells.

From the ground to the center/top of my fender wells are 35" in the front and 37" in the rear.

Any help?

265/75R16 will be perfect.

265/75/16 duratracs will fit nice up under there and will be good for those east coast winters

Hey Mark, welcome to the site man. It's Jerry from MYST.

I have Goodyear DuraTrac's on my Trac and they're awesome in all driving conditions, especially in winter. General Grabber AT2's are also a great tire. Hugh already said what size would work for you with the factory wheels and minimal trimming.

Here's some pic's of my GY's...

Try http://www.treaddepot.com/ for good pricing.

im rolling on treadwright gaurd dogs. 265/75R16 they are a really highly rated re-tread company that is in my local area. even been reviewed by 4 wheel magazine as well as a few other truck and offroad mags. they use nitto goodyear and BFG cassings. website is www.treadwright.com

right now i have a 1.75" rear lift 2" front lift and a upsize of 29" to 32" tire so a grand total in lift of 3.25"

Haha, I've been discovered. Yeah, a few of us spend time on both. Eddie isn't a member here to my knowledge. I've learned everything I know from the two forums. Great people at both...and sometimes the same people.

:wavey::bsnicker: There's a bunch of us over here too.

I am JohnnyO everywhere. Here, mysporttrac.com, therangerstation.com, bobistheoilguy.com and two Jeep boards.
I had 265/75-16's on my old '05 Trac with a TT/shackle lift. They rubbed a little on the front swaybar and the rear inner fenders but not enough that you noticed. 285/15-16's will fit but you will need 3/4" spacers on the rear.

this is great stuff guys. btw i am markk in myst. LOL . there is such great info between the 2 sites that I bounce around both.

On the retreads? What are the pros and cons on those?

I would think price would be one pro?

I've looked allover the internet and haven't found a single worrisome issue. In fact, the only negative review I've seen was shared on this site in the thread about Treadwright. Appeared to be owner neglect rather than product defect. I'd have no reservations getting them and my next set probably will be Treadwrights.

it's a pretty huge cost saver. nice

I will either be getting TreadWrights or the GY Authorities from wal mart as my winter tire whenever I get my new shoes... they are highly rated EVERYWHERE

to bad you live so far away interscope could have picked up for you and saved some shipping that or you could get them and test them on the trails out here in SD

I saw that you said they were local. Im jealous! Haha. I need "winter" tires because I dont want my shiney new rims to pit and get ruined from the salt here in IN. So my stockers are gunna eat what they can

unless you plan to get them before labor day? i have a a road trip planned i will join the family in the ozarks then on monday i will be in the chicagoland area till the 7th of september.

Very generous but very doubtful :(

Thanks tho! If you find a weekend to come to IN tho come to the badlands OffRoad park by me

im trying to find a set of cheaper 08 ranger rims.
These. The guy wants 500 bucks. Still a little too much for me at the moment. But I want these in black or a nice gun metal
